Using VoiceToCSV, is really simple, press "Start mic" and dictate the values you want to record in CSV.

You will certainly need to grant microphone usage to the application.

All WEB browsers are not compatible with voice recognition. See compatibility table here after.

Recorded data are gradually displayed in "Inputted values" part.

To get the CSV file (Excel compatible), enter your email and push "Send data".

No investment, use VoiceToCSV on your mobile phone, tablet, or computeur.

You can also add a barcodes reader to record products or equipments ID and complete other information with voice.

Offline mode

VoiceToCSV has been developed to also work offline.

It's a plus in environments where wifi or mobile network are poor or inexistent.

You collect data offline, then you send them to generate a CSV file as soon as network is available again.

However, becarefull, all mobile phones are not compatible with offline voice recognition. See compatibility table here after.

There are some tips when using VoiceToCSV.

Pronounce numbers

Some numbers can be misinterpreted (example "1" or "2") => if it is the case, then say for example "Number 1" to get "1".

Transformation of dictated values

You can configurate input fields in "Configuration" menu then "Values".

Type "Standard"

No transformation is carried out. The value is the one interpreted by the voice recognition.

Type "Code"

Spaces are removed. Except if you mention the word "space" as in this case this word will be replaced by a real space.

If you encounter issues when pronouncing a letter with the voice recognition of your mobile phone or computer. Example "A" which would become "Ah". You can use the word "letter". "Letter A" will become "A".

dash would be replaced by a "-".

To generate a bottom dash, you can use "underscore".

Type "Code + Capital"

This type is doing the same transformation then the type "Code", but, additionally, it transformers lowercase into uppercase.

CSV file

You can choose, in the configuration menu, if the CSV file must contain separators with "," or ";".

"Configuration" menu then "File".

By default, a CSV file cannot contain more than 100 lines.

You need a specific format (other separtors, more lines number...) for instance to integrate it directly into your ERP or another application, do not hesitate to contact us in order us to study the feasibility.

Voice speech and voice recognition compatibility depend on equipment type (mobile phone, computer, tablet), operating system (Android, IOS, Windows), WEB browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox...) and language

This compatibility quickly evolves. We are doing our best to follow-up these factors per country.
